Baracuda G3 VS. Kreepy Krauly Kruiser

If you own or have ever owned a pool with a dedicated suction line, chances are you’ve heard about the Baracuda G3 and Kreepy Krauly Kruiser. Both cleaners have a reputation for being easy-to-use, long lasting cleaners with little to no maintenance, but which cleaner is better?

Kreepy Krauly Kruiser Suction Side Cleaner

It’s only fair that we start off with the cleaner that inspired many of the suction side cleaners you see today, the Kreepy Krauly. The Kreepy Krauly Kruiser is the newer improved model based off the original Kreepy Krauly, now known as the classic. The new cleaner has improved suction, quiet operation and a single moving part, which cuts down on maintenance. When taking a step further and looking at the functionality of the cleaner, the improved suction and quiet performance delights our team at PoolSupplyWorld as well as our customers. Problematic areas start to come to light when looking at the maneuverability of the cleaner. Some customers report that the Kruiser gets hung-up on hard-to-clean areas like pool stairs.  Other than the occasional hangup on stairs, the Kruiser gets high praise for being extremely easy to operate and put together with reliable, long lasting performance. With one moving part, the cleaner is easy to maintain if a problem should ever occur.
