What is the difference between the Polaris Robotic Pool Cleaners?

Let’s take a closer look at the Polaris 9450 Sport, and 9550 Sport:
POLARIS 9450 SPORT
The Polaris 9450 Sport is a self contained vacuum and filtration system. The unit scrubs the bottom of the pool with the cylinder segmented blade scrub brush and then vacuums up the debris and filters it out returning the now clean water to the pool.

The 9450 is equipped with a floating 60’ cord suitable to cover pools up to 50’ in length.

The 9450 is equipped with a dirty canister indicator light to let you know when the inboard filtration canister is full. When that light turns on the filtration canister needs to be cleaned.

The 9450 has an easy lift system button located on the control unit. When the cleaner has finished its cleaning cycle simply press the lift system button if you press and hold the button the cleaner will turn to the left so you can point the cleaner at the wall you’d like to remove it from. The lift system button will activate the cleaners removal procedure. The cleaner will drive up the wall and sit at the water’s surface for 3 minutes waiting to be removed from the pool. Once the cleaner is actively being removed from the pool by the handle located on the front. The 9450 will evacuate all the water inside the unit, out the rear jet. Making the unit lighter and easier to handle.
The 9450 features an easy to open hood. Simply press the Polaris button on the hood of the cleaner. This will release the hood and reveal the all-purpose filtration canister.

To clean the filtration canister simply remove the filter canister with the handle. Press the yellow button on the canister door, releasing the door. Empty out any large debris, and rise with the garden hose if needed for fine debris. Re-assembly the filter canister, and place it back into the cleaner. Close the hood for the cleaner.
When the unit is not in use, please store it on the provided caddy. The caddy will also allow the cleaner cord to stay more organized and uniform preventing kinks.
