As temperatures heat up, so do backyard grills. Relaxing by the pool is best complimented by a great poolside snack or cocktail. So we’ve put our heads together to craft the best poolside recipes for swim season. Each week we will share one of our favorite poolside recipes. Prepare for your grilled avocados by cutting them in half and removing the pits. If the pit cannot be scooped out with a spoon, hit it lightly with a butter knife and twist.
After you remove the pits, drizzle olive oil over the inside of the avocados coating the surface.
Once the avocados have been coated with olive oil the are ready to grill. Put your grill on medium heat and leave the grill top open. Place avocados face down on the grill and let them cook for about ten minutes.
Take avocados off the grill and put them onto serving plate and season with sea salt. Fill the centers with your favorite chunky salsa and top with a dab of sour cream. Serve with a side of chips for dipping and take a break from your swim. Enjoy!
